Brio appoints Kevin O'Connor President Brio USA Inc.

Brio® has opened for business in the US and named Kevin O’Connor President Brio USA Inc.

"In May this year, we took the next exciting step in our growth, registering the subsidiary Brio USA Inc., located in Rochester, N.Y.," reports Styli Pelekanos, Brio Group General Manager. "From this location, we will supply the high-quality range of Brio products coast-to-coast in the states."

"With 30 years of sales and marketing experience in the U.S. fenestration market, Kevin will be able to provide our customers with the service-focused approach and strong technical support that sets us apart from our competitors throughout the world,” adds Pelekanos.

"The opening of this facility enables the launch of our product lines," O'Connor states. "These include the Brio Weatherfold range of architectural hardware for exterior folding doors and the Brio 612 retractable pleated insect screen. The Brio 612 screen has the capability to screen large openings, making it one of the largest single action products of its type in the world." A single screen can span widths up to 14 feet, 9 inches and two meeting screens can span up to 29 feet, 6 inches, O'Connor notes.

Before joining Brio, Kevin held senior sales management roles in the industry at G-U Hardware and HOPPE. Prior to that Kevin spent 12 years at Schlegel Corporation in Product Management roles. Kevin graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a concentration in Marketing. Kevin is a keen golfer and also enjoys hiking, bike riding, skiing and live music.
